Oconomowoc Lakes
Named after the Potowatomi word for "where the waters meet" you will find two lakes in the heart of Oconomowoc that are separated only by a narrow strip of land. Fowler Lake and Lac La Belle not only offer natural beauty that can be admired from the shoreline whether fishing, relaxing on a park bench or while on a walk along the isthmus that separates them, but it can also be enjoyed from the water.

You can kayaks, canoes and paddleboards for rent locally at City Beach where lifeguards will walk your craft right to the water for you to board. Six Popular Parks in Oconomowoc
City Beach Park - This is the hot spot in Oconomowoc in the summer season. City Beach offers a large public swimming area, sandy beach, playground, watercraft rentals and outdoor ampitheater where you'll find many free concerts throughout the season.
Fowler Park - This park offers a beautiful, expansive green space overlooking Fowler Lake. Play here on playgrounds, a half court basketball court and tennis courts. This park also has an open air pavilion you can reserve for gatherings. And you'll find many events in Fowler Park each year including outdoor family event, Moonlit Movies and the Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts.
Riverside Park - This park is tucked off the beaten path but its beauty and proximity to the Oconomowoc River makes it a favorite spot. You can visit here and enjoy the river that runs through Riverside Park. Gather in a reservable open-air pavilion or let the kids enjoy the playground.
Roosevelt Park - The largest draw to this large park is Imagination Station Playground. This universally accessible playground is destination for families and a hit for its patrons. Roosevelt Park is also home to a local ball field where you can watch some great outdoor sporting events including the Oconomowoc High School baseball team and the Oconomowoc Legion baseball team.
Explore the Lake Country Recreation Trail runs along Roosevelt Park. The park also features outdoor sand volleyball courts and open air pavilions.
Veterans Memorial Park - A stunning tribute to service members, Veterans Memorial Park is a serene destination on Lac La Belle. This park honors all branches of the military. It features a memorial wall of service members from the area, quiet reflection areas along the lake and a historic fountain.
Village Green Park - This park is at city center. It is a popular pass through area for those walking around downtown Fowler Lake. It is also the venue for many Oconomowoc events and festivals all year long.
