Get out and explore Oconomowoc's natural beauty. There are lakes, trails, parks, playgrounds and more to explore here.

On the water

Oconomowoc is the Potowatomi word for "where the waters meet." You will find that two lakes in the heart of Oconomowoc meet here and you can walk right between them on an isthmus. Fowler Lake and Lac La Belle not only offer natural beauty by admiring them from the shoreline whether fishing, on a park bench or on a walk. But you can also enjoy the day on the lakes on a boat or personal watercraft.

Plan your day on the lake in Oconomowoc by renting a craft to get on the water. You can find personal watercrafts like kayaks, canoes and paddleboards for rent locally at City Beach where lifeguards will walk your craft right to the water to get on board. You can also rent locally from Sherper's, Paddleboard Specialists and Moboevo.
