Oconomowoc Fall Activities

Here's a brief lineup of fall fun in the Oocnomowoc area. 

Drive-through breakfast at the firehouse!

Yes, seriously. Due to everything being creatively offered for safety this year, who better than firefighters to come up with a super safe and fun alternative to their annual pancake breakfast! Event is Saturday, Oct. 10 at the Western Lakes Fire District station in Oconomowoc or Sunday at the station in Dousman.

Downtown Oconomowoc

Witches Night Out: 5-9 pm Thursday, Oct. 19. Downtown Oconomowoc's annual themed Ladies Night Out. Grab your hats and broomsticks and enjoy a night on the town with in-store specials, drinks and prizes!

Walks and Runs

  • Monster Fore Miler - Join this costumed 5K that is heading to downtown Oconomowoc due to COVID restrictions back east. Costumes encouraged! Find out more.
  • Pet Walk and Costume Contest - Join this furrocious event that meets at Fowler Park and then parades you and your costumed pet around Fowler Lake! Find out more

Oconomwooc Library

Get in the Halloween spirit with the Oconomowoc Library which is offering some fun virtual activities to enjoy at home.

  • Kids Kitchen: Spooky Snacks 10-11 a.m. Saturday, October 31:Cook along with Children's Librarian Ms. Caitlin and enjoy fun stories, songs, and kitchen science. Registration is required; one registration per family. Online event - Zoom link will be emailed.
  • Fright Fest! Scary Stories Read-Aloud Wednesday, October 28, 4 - 5 pm: Does October put you in the mood for some spooky thrills? Listen in to some downright chilling tales, read aloud by Ms. Caitlin, with visuals and sound effects included! Registration is required; one registration per family. A Zoom link will be sent by email. 

Oconomowoc Trick or Treat - Trick or Treat activities including the annual Halloween Parade and business Trick or Treat downtown are currently to be determined. Please watch here or on our Facebook page for any updates. 

  • Okauchee Halloween Parade  6pm Oct. 28: All people present at the parades will start walking in the parade at Holy Trinity School at 6 pm east down Wisconsin Avenue to Okauchee Lions Park for a Bag of Candy and ice cream. All activities planned will be held outside and be practicing family social distancing. Find out more. 
  • St. Matthews Trunk or Treat: 10am-12p.m. Oct. 31: Families are invited to St. Matthew’s School’s parking lot to see decorated trunks and collect candy. Families can also enjoy a petting zoo, door prizes, photo booth, and snacks! They will also be accepting food donations for the Oconomowoc Food Pantry. Find out more

Farmers Market

Don't forget about the Summer Farmers Market which is looking very fall lately. This time of year at the Saturday morning market, you'll find beautiful flowers, in season produce including pumpkins and other squash/gourds; food, bakery items, jewelry, clothing and more! The market is from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Saturdays through Oct. 31 in the downtown Campus Parking lot by 155 West Wisconsin Avenue, Oconomowoc. Want to see who will be there this week? Find out more.
