Canadian Pacific Kansas City Holiday Train

The Canadian Pacific Kansas City Holiday Train is back with its 1,000 feet of amazing lights and some great live music! Here's what you need to know before you go.

This year's performers are The American Authors and Pynk Beard


Head down and grab your spot early! 

We are fortunate to have the Silver Lake Intermediate School choir singing Christmas carols around 6:15. You can also grab a cup of hot cocoa and a cookie to enjoy from St. Paul's Church.

Please don't forget to bring a cash or non-perishable donation. We will have Oconomowoc Area Food Pantry Volunteers stationed around the entry to the event site to accept donations. 

Road Closure Information

Roads around the event area will close as early as 4:30pm December 10. Plan ahead of traveling through this area. Below is a map of the event area. You can view a larger image at this link.

Restrooms: We will have portable restrooms in the Speedway gas station parking lot and in the Brownberry factory lot south off of Silver Lake Street. 

Where to Donate: We will have 3 vans with food pantry volunteers stationed around the exterior of the event area for easy drop off before you head into the show. 

  • South Silver Lake Street
  • North Silver Lake Street across from Speedway
  • Collins Street and Silver Lake Plaza

Treats: St. Pauls' Church mission group will have cookies and hot cocoa for donations. Stop by their setup for a treat to keep you warm before the show. They are located at the corner of Silver Lake Street and Silver Lake Plaza

ADA Parking: ADA parking is available on a first come, first serve basis on Collins Street along the railroad tracks (see map). To access you must enter Collins Street from Wisconsin Avenue. Show the officer your ADA tag and if there is space, they will grant entry. You cannot enter past 5pm to get into this area to park. 

Where to watch: You can view the show from either side of the railroad tracks. Head down early to get a good spot on Silver Lake Street. 

Road Closures: To ensure safety, we will be closing roads at 4:30pm around the event area. We will close Summit Avenue from Cross Street to Silver Lake Street at 5:30. Detour will be posted. Please plan ahead.
