[ARCHIVED] It's an Over the Rainbow Oz Celebrate Aug. 15

Oconomowoc celebrates the 85th anniversary of the original screening of the "Wizard of Oz" this year. There are plenty of celebrations planned culminating with the showing of the moving downtown Aug. 15.

Here's what's planned!

June 1: Yellow Brick Road Run, Downtown Oconomowoc.
June 14-16 : Flying Monkeys take over Wisconsin Brewing Company Park.
June 22 : Oconomowoc Community Theatre presents Waffles with the Wizard & Friends of Oz. Breakfast at Cornerstone Pub.
July 19-21 : Oconomowoc Community Theater presents “The Wizard of Oz” at the OAC.
August 14 : Oconomowoc Library hosts speaker Michelle Gibbons on “Following the Yellow Brick Road : The Life of Judy Garland.”
August 15: Moonlit Movies hosts the 85th celebration in Downtown Oconomowoc. Food, activities and more downtown starting at 4 pm. Movie at dusk.
