[ARCHIVED] A Little Night of Musical Theater set for May 3

Oconomowoc Community Center

Enjoy a Friday night of musical theater acts on the lake at the Oconomowoc Community Center. The Oconomowoc Community Choir presents, "A Little Night of Music" May 3.

This event is the first of its kind featuring talented local performers showcasing classic favorites including pieces from "The Wizard of Oz." Guests will be treated to an "Oz experience" with authentic set decor throughout the venue. Also on tap is a cash bar, appetizers and a silent auction. One-hundred percent of proceeds will support the Oz Plaza project in Downtown Oconomowoc.

In 2019, the City of Oconomowoc unveiled lifesize statues of Dorothy, Toto, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion. the Wizard and Bad Witch at the plaza space next to City Hall. In 2021, a giant mural of the Emerald City was added. And in 2024, the City has some very exciting enhancements in store to completely enhance this space into even more of a destination celebrating the City's connection to the "Wizard of Oz."

Tickets are $50 per person. A limited amount of tables are available that seat 10 each. Check or cash only.
