The third week in August is sure to delight concluding with a rich Oconomowoc tradition, the Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts.
Artists from all over the world display their creative materpieces in every medium imaginable filling lakeside Fowler Park with a menagerie of items sure to delight, inspire and maybe even convince you to take a piece home to enjoy indefinitely. The arts board puts the artists centerstage, but it also makes great use of the entire park offering food, drinks, famous, homemade pies and stages with entertainers. The atmosphere is truly something to experience on a late summer day.
The entire community celebrates the arrival of the arts festival and we even keep the party going all week. Many summer favorites plan an event during these week.

Weds. Aug. 16
- Yoga on the Green, 6pm, Community Center Lawn - Grab a towel or mat and join this community yoga class.
- Legion Band Concert, 7:30pm. Enjoy a concert by the 100-year-old Oconomowoc American Legion Band in City Beach Park.

- Farmers Market 8am-12pm Campus Parking lot across from Community Center.
- Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts, 10am-5pm, Fowler Park. Juried art festival, music, food and more.
- Downtown Oconomowoc Maxwell Street Days, 10am, sale of the season hosted by downtown businesses
- Downtown Village Green Beer Garden, 5-9pm, Village Green Park. Wisconsin craft beer, trivia and music.
- Light up the Lake Celebration, 7:30pm City Beach Park. Legion Band concert; fireworks.
