Oconomowoc is ready to welcome November. The community's calendar is full of plenty of things to do. On tap are crafty events, wine tastings and even a train show. Here's what's slated ...

Friday, Nov. 1

Autumn Acoustics and Spiced Songs with Slick Mitchey

7-10pm, Bootleggerz Sports Bar

Saturday, Nov. 2

Holiday Craft Fair

9am-2pm, Oconomowoc Area Senior Center. Start your holiday shopping, buy some bakery and grab lunch if you want. 

Holly Fest

9am-2pm, Forgotten Treasures Resale Boutique will be transformed into a winter/Christmas holiday store with holiday decorations, gifts, vintage items and more on sale. Also bake sale and raffle. Proceeds will help build a gazebo for Shorehaven residents. 

Dino-vember

10am-12pm, Stomp and roar for the love of dinosaurs at this themed event at the Oconomowoc Library. 

Model Railroad Open House

11am-3pm, Enjoy layouts and displays in almost all major scales by the Milwaukee North Western Railroad at the Oconomowoc Museum and Historical Society. 

Wednesday, Nov. 6

Trivia with Skipper Dave at the DockHaus

5-8pm,The DockHaus is open at Wisconsin Brewing Company Park during the off-season with themed nights. November 6th DockHound's Broadcaster Dominic Stearn will be bringing out shortstop, Demetrius Sims, for a live Q&A and enjoy trivia with Skipper Dave. 

Sunday, Nov. 10

Sip & Chunky Blanket Party

11am-2pm, Make a chunky blanket and sip a beverage at Vino Etc. Must pre-register. 

Operation Honoring PFC Robert Lutz

1pm, A military transfer case was recently discovered in an Oconomowoc building that carried local marine Robert S. Lutz who was killed in action in Vietnam. This ceremony will honor Lutz and dedicate the transfer case to its new home at the museum. 

Wednesday, Nov. 13

Wine and Dine with the DockHounds

6-8pm, Taste more than 24 red and white wines paired with complimentary appetizers. Get your holiday wine collection or gifts ready and enjoy event only pricing. 

Friday, Nov. 15

The Addams Family: A New Musical

The OHS Players present a ghoulish musical comedy. This family friendly show is based on the famous, quirky Addams Family. First show is 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15. Additional showtimes are: 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 22 and 23; 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17; and 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21 at the Oconomowoc Arts Center Main Stage.

Junior Curators: Holiday Edition

9-10am, For ages 8-12, this workshop hosted by the Oconomowoc Area Museum and Historical Society will cover various holiday traditions as well as humanity's fascination with collecting and documenting our past. Participants will learn how to document and exhibit artifacts of their own. 

Wednesday, Nov. 20

Costa Christmas Cookie Decorating Class

6-8pm, Costa Cookies will be in the suites at DockHounds stadium to teach you how to decorate 6 different types of cookies. Done your best Christmas outfit or ugly sweater and enjoy raffles and holiday season fun. *sign up before Nov. 13.

German Christmas Market, Nov. 27 and Nov. 29-Dec. 1.
