Wisconsin is home to 49 state parks, 15 state forests, 44 state trails, 84,000 miles of rivers and streams, roughly 15,000 lakes and so much more. On Free Fishing Weekend, you can cast a line without having a fishing license, trout stamp or salmon stamp. What a great opportunity for family and friends to give it a try!

Place your wish for the New Year on the Oconomowoc Wishing Tree. The Wishing Tree is the city's Christmas tree located in the greenspace at the downtown roundabout. Materials are there to write your wish and place it in an ornament to hang on the tree. Hurry up and place your wish before the tree is down for the season. All wishes are saved and recorded. They are sacred and not shared with the public but kept safe in our Wishing Tree files :)

Have you ever wanted to see Battlebot fights but couldn't justify the trip to LA? Now is your chance to experience the thrill of combat robots right here in Oconomowoc! WRC is bringing you our most competitive field yet with 48 robots representing 5 different states. Sparks fly and robots die in this all ages event. Don't miss out on the action!

Join the Lapham Peak Ski Club for their Family Ski Day Snow Celebration at Lapham Peak on January 15th, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. All activities are free*. *Ski rentals available (additional cost) *State Park pass required for entrance to Lapham Peak. All activities will take place near the Evergreen Shelter and trail head.
