Oconomowoc's Holiday Train Stop

Tourism Website banner

The City of Oconomowoc is thrilled to be part of the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train's 2019 stops. The momentum for a Holiday Train stop in Oconomowoc recently gained momentum again in 2017 when city staff teamed with the Oconomowoc Area Food Pantry to create a safe, entertaining and successful community event that benefits the pantry to help our neighbors in need.

Here's your Holiday Train FAQ's for the 2019 stop:
  • 2019 stop is 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3 at the South Silver Lake Street Crossing

  • Parking: Available in area municipal lots. There is not a shuttle available. We advise you plan ahead and give yourself time to park and walk to the train stop location.

  • Pantry Donations: That's the point, right?! The Holiday Train's mission is to generate support and awareness for local food pantries. Please don't forget to bring donations for the Oconomowoc Area Food Pantry. We have 6 dropoff locations near parking areas you can spot when heading toward the train stop.
Don't want to carry a shopping bag full of nonperishables? No problem! We will have happy elves from the pantry roaming the stop site and they can kindly take your cash donations. (we've heard they hand out goodies in exchange)

  • Take a look at our Master Map of the event area to identify the stop location, pantry donation drop-off areas, restroom locations and a general overview of the downtown area in relation to the stop at Silver Lake and Collins Street. Click the map to download a larger version
